JD and Cindy April Drive to Rome, TN

Join us Sunday April 26th for an event you won’t forget! We will meet at
the TA Travel Center at the corner of I-24 and Old Hickory Blvd in
Antioch (exit 62) at noon for a just over 1 hour drive to Rome TN. There
we will visit the airplane hangar of legacy member Phil Schulert and his
brother Pete and Pete’s wife Susan. We will enjoy a traditional pig
roast with all the fixin’s while we ogle some very cool airplanes such
as 1956 Champion (nee Aeronca) 7ec, a 1946 Fairchild 24w, a 1980 Cessna
172 RG Cutlass and a 1978 Beech B55 Baron. If the weather is dry leading
up to the event we may have some additional planes visit during the day
(it’s a grass airstrip). RSVP by clicking here before April 21 and let
us know what you would like to drink (soft drinks, tea, water) by
E-mailing me here. If you want alcoholic beverages you will need to
bring them. This is a rain or shine event as we will be in the hangar so
if it’s raining drive your regular car! JD & Cindy
